A visual observation — sound measurements becoming geometry — became The Frequency Sieve. This sibling carries that idea into space. Bass settles into a slow disc, mids cut through it on a tilted plane, and highs scatter into a quick halo. The same song now accumulates as a rotating system you can turn in your hand.

In ordinary words

Nothing here is invented by a live model. The song was measured once into low, mid and high energy. Every old measurement becomes a point on an orbit; its age chooses the radius, its band chooses the plane, and its value chooses how far it pulls away from that plane. The music does not decorate the galaxy. It is the material the galaxy is made from.

From sieve to orbit

The Frequency Sieve began with a visual observation: sound measurements becoming geometry. This piece carries that idea forward into rotating three-dimensional forms. Screen position becomes orbital age: a frame remains in the system and rotates around a shared centre.

The low, mid and high inputs are exactly the independently normalized values from 027. They still compare each band with its own history, not absolute acoustic power across bands. The new object is a spatial interpretation of those three signals, not a new acoustic measurement.

A galaxy you can seek

Playback time remains the only animation clock. Pause freezes the orbital system; seeking rebuilds the same history at the new moment. Dragging changes only the camera, and the wheel changes distance. The underlying positions do not depend on frame rate, so returning to one timestamp returns to one galaxy.

The compact measurement remains available as data.json. Run the analyser beside the pinned MP3 to regenerate it.
